Straight from the Huila region, from one of Colombia's most innovative producers – Nestor Lasso – comes this exceptional coffee from his family farm, El Diviso. This rare Ombligon variety attracts attention not only with its name but above all with its unique history. It is a natural mutation or possible hybrid between the traditional Typica and Bourbon varieties, discovered on Colombian plantations. Its characteristic feature is the elongated, slightly "bulging" bean shape – hence the name Ombligon, which roughly translates to "navel." This variety is known for its exceptionally complex sensory profile, perfectly reflecting the potential of the terroir and processing methods. The coffee has been naturally processed, giving it depth, juiciness, and a high sweetness. There's a lot going on in the cup: lots of wild strawberries, plus the sparkling freshness of a fruity pét-nat, offset by the sweetness of roasted malt.
