Beansmith's – Ethiopia Gedeb is the essence of the Yirgacheffe region, sourced from the highly regarded Chelbesa washing station. Grown at altitudes reaching 2200 m a.s.l., the cooler climate allows the cherries to mature slowly, concentrating their aromatic potential. This lot is a classic Heirloom blend, hand-harvested by hundreds of smallholders for whom coffee farming has been a family tradition for generations.
Processed using the Natural method on raised beds for approximately 22 days, this coffee boasts an incredibly creamy texture and high sweetness. In the cup, you will discover a dessert-like profile reminiscent of blueberry cheesecake, complemented by the juiciness of ripe plum. The experience concludes with a long, elegant finish of Earl Grey tea. With its medium, balanced acidity and dense body, Gedeb is a spectacular filter coffee that highlights the purity of Ethiopian fruit notes.
