A balanced, pure-tasting Kenyan Arabica with aromas of nectarines and red grapes, with a honeyed sweetness and subtle notes of oolong tea. Its medium acidity makes it milder than typical Kenyan coffees, yet still full of fruity elegance and depth.
This coffee from Nyeri in central Kenya comes from the Gachatha Factory – a processing station operating since 1963 and currently collaborating with over 1,500 smallholder farmers. Grown in the fertile, volcanic soils of the Aberdare Mountains, it uses the SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties. The AA quality beans, subjected to a classic, fully washed process, are characterized by exceptional purity and sweetness, with medium acidity.
