Concept Coffee – Indonesia Funky Wine is a unique lot from the Rakyat farm in the Bebesen region, managed by the enterprising producer Aulia Kahfi. The Abyssinia, Ateng, and Gayo variety beans are grown at altitudes ranging from 1300 to 1600 m a.s.l. The secret behind its distinctive character is the Winey process—the cherries are washed and then fermented for 20 to 25 days before being slowly dried to the perfect humidity.
This process results in a cup described by the roastery as "vibrant and untamed." The profile is led by lively notes of natural wine and bright pineapple. A crisp grapefruit accent adds freshness, while a grounding hint of cacao rounds out the finish. It is a perfect choice for those seeking high sweetness and a truly distinctive, wine-like complexity in their specialty coffee.
