Quickborn Roastery – Ethiopia Danche is a single-origin specialty coffee sourced from the Yirgacheffe region (Gedeb zone, Chelbesa) in Ethiopia (2200 MASL). Featuring the local improved 74158 and 74112 varieties, this lot is processed at the Danche wet mill operated by SNAP Specialty Coffee. The cherries undergo meticulous fully Washed processing using eco-pulpers, followed by 2–3 days of tank fermentation, a 12-hour soak, and 7–10 days of raised-bed drying to maximize clarity and precision.

The resulting filter roast demonstrates a classic washed Ethiopian profile characterized by a delicate, tea-like body. The sensory hierarchy features vibrant lime acidity accompanied by elegant floral notes, grounded by a clean, sweet foundation of brown sugar. Lightly roasted for manual pour-over extraction, it performs consistently across tools like the Hario V60, Chemex, and AeroPress.
