In the cup, the coffee is sweet, soft, and very harmonious. Nougat sweetness and maple syrup come to the fore, lending a dessert-like character to the overall experience. Stone fruit and cherry are further noticeable, bringing a delicate, apple-cherry (malic) acidity that's fresh but unobtrusive. The finish is smooth, medium-full, with a subtle vanilla note that pleasantly rounds out the profile. This decaf doesn't taste like a compromise at all – rather, it tastes like a full-fledged, comfortable coffee to drink any time of day (or night). Caffeine was removed using the Swiss Water method, without the use of chemicals, while maintaining the natural flavor profile as closely as possible.
