Cascara is the dried skin and pulp of the coffee cherry. It is produced in the coffee processing plant during the process of separating the cherry from the seeds (depulping).

Cascara – dried coffee cherry from the Oscar and Francisca Chacón farm in Las Lajas. This is the skin of the coffee cherry that remains after natural processing and is used to prepare a unique, sweet, full-bodied infusion with low caffeine content.
