The coffee is juicy and vibrant. Blueberries and strawberries take center stage – sweet, ripe, almost dessert-like. A hint of orange cake develops in the background, adding depth, softness, and a slightly sponge-like character. The overall flavor is very clean, sweet, and intensely fruity, with a natural Ethiopian lightness. Ethiopia Blue Lagoon is another exceptional flight from one of DAK's favorite stations this year – Buku Abel, located in the Guji (Hambela) region at an altitude of 1900–2100 meters above sea level. Natural processing, red soils, abundant sunshine, and cool winds create the perfect conditions for building an intense, fruity profile.
