Ethiopia Tibebu Roba is a coffee with an exceptionally harmonious, creamy character. The flavor is dominated by notes of milk chocolate and sweet cherries, offset by a subtle, tea-like finish reminiscent of Oolong. The brew is smooth, juicy, and elegant – combining the classic sweetness of Ethiopian natural coffees with the delicacy and depth of tea nuances.
This coffee from the Yirgacheffe region is grown at an altitude of 2000–2200 meters above sea level by Tibebu Roba, a farmer known for his enthusiasm, song, and immense passion for coffee. The beans come from both his own trees and from small-scale growers in the area. Ripe cherries are hand-picked and dried in the shade of large enset trees (so-called "false bananas"), which promotes even ripening and intense flavor.
