Friedhats - Rwanda Gasharu Ireme - 250g

Rwanda Ireme is an intense, funky Rwanda from the Macuba Sector in the Nyamasheke district, produced by Gasharu Coffee and based on fruit from approximately 1,650 smallholder farmers. The coffee is grown at altitudes of 1,600–2,100 meters above sea level, and the Bourbon variety, combined with anaerobic natural processing, creates a deep, sweet, and distinctly fruity profile. In the cup, the coffee is dense, viscous, and very expressive. Stewed peaches come to the forefront—sweet, ripe, almost compote-like. Cocoa nibs build the midpoint, adding a slightly bitter depth and structure. A syrupy texture ties the whole thing together, giving the coffee weight and a pleasant, lingering sweetness. The profile is distinctly funky, yet controlled—juicy, dessert-like, and enveloping, perfect for cooler days.
