The long, 100-hour anaerobic process extracts a wealth of aromas from the Bourbon, balancing the sweetness of the fruit with the elegant bitter chocolate. This is an intense, dessert-like coffee with character, perfect for those seeking a unique taste experience. Coffee from Rwanda, in the Nyamasheke (Macuba) region, cultivated at an altitude of 1600–2100 meters above sea level by 1650 smallholder farmers working with Gasharu Coffee. The Bourbon variety undergoes a natural anaerobic process with a 100-hour fermentation, giving it an intense and complex character.
