El Refugio Gesha is an exceptionally pure and elegant interpretation of Colombian terroir. Notes of red apple, vanilla, and caramel cookies dominate the cup, delicately broken by accents of chamomile and black tea. Balanced acidity and velvety sweetness give the coffee a dessert-like, harmonious character. The washed processing allows the natural lightness and floral character of the Gesha variety to fully unfold, offering a brew with a long, clean finish.
Coffee from the El Refugio farm, owned by the Agudelo Uribe family, located in the Villamaría region at an altitude of 1750–2050 meters above sea level. The washed Gesha variety is grown in volcanic soils at the foot of the Ruiz volcano. The farm is managed according to agroforestry principles, focusing on quality and sustainable specialty coffee production.
