Nolens Volens Roastery – Vietnam Canephora Robusta Gia Lai is a light-roasted bean from the Robusta project, showcasing the modern face of Canephora. The honey process and very light roasting bring out a surprising purity, tea-like character, and natural sweetness in this Robusta, without the typical heaviness of the style.
The aroma is reminiscent of black tea with chamomile – delicate, herbal, and serene. The taste is complemented by orange, providing a light, citrusy acidity, and distinct wild nectar, which builds sweetness and a slightly honeyed character. A subtle nutmeg finish adds a spicy depth. The body is light, tea-like, very drinkable, and clean.
This is a Robusta that doesn't pretend to be Arabica – it stands on its own: clear, delicate, and modern.
