Swerl Coffee - Kolumbia David Gomez Geisha- 250g
An elegant and sweet coffee with notes of honeydew melon, ripe peach, and grape. A long-lasting jasmine blossom and lemonade.
This is the third season Swerl has purchased David Gomez's Geisha series, and this year it performs just as wonderfully. The processing is impeccable. David keeps his Geisha in cherry for 24 hours. They are then de-mashed and fermented for 36 hours before being washed and then dried for 22 days. The coffee is sourced in partnership with Osito, whose owners also own a farm in the nearby region. This is how Osito established contact with the group of producers in La Plata, to which David Gomez belongs. Osito's relationships with these producers are among the longest they have ever built. The Martír Group is comprised of 20 families who live between Alto Canada in Huila and as far away as Itaibe in Cauca. The passion and dedication of these producers, including David Gomez, are unparalleled and are deeply felt in the coffee they produce. We are truly grateful to be able to share this coffee with you.
