As Kasia i Wojtek from Good Coffee say about this coffee: "It captivated us with its elegance, smoothness, sweetness, and intense flavor, with notes of mango and pear." The Casiopeia variety is an F1 hybrid derived from Caturra and Heirloom (Heirloom is the general name for countless Ethiopian varieties that crossbreed and constantly create new mutations). Casiopea is currently a unique variety, but it is enjoying increasing popularity in Costa Rica and Panama. At this year's World of Coffee in Jakarta, renowned Panamanian producer Jamison Savage, during a cupping session of his coffees, drew attendees' attention not to new processing methods or his famous Geishas, but to Casiopea, which he offered for the first time.
