Dak Coffee Roasters – Kenya Cassis is a single-origin specialty coffee sourced from the Kirinyaga County on the slopes of Mount Kenya. This lot consists of SL-28, SL-34, Batian, and Ruiru 11 varieties from the 2026 harvest season, produced by smallholder members of the highly-regarded Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS). Processed using the traditional fully washed method (Washed), this lot showcases exceptional clean cup quality and highlights the regional terroir.

The resulting cup is characterized by a full, juicy mouthfeel and a vibrant, structured organic acidity that carries the fruit profile cleanly. The flavor hierarchy offers intense, bright notes of tart red currant, crisp rhubarb, and sweet pomegranate. Lightly roasted for filter extraction, this high-density lot performs consistently across manual pour-over methods including the Hario V60, Chemex, and AeroPress.
