The sensory profile is dominated by the sweetness of ripe peach, juicy and expressive from the first sip. Licorice adds depth—spicy, darker, and elegantly contrasting with the coffee's fruity side. A subtle, soft and creamy texture and a pleasantly rounded flavor complete the whole. This is a Kenya with a slightly more dessert-like, sweet character, yet still retaining the purity and brightness typical of Kiambu. Kenya Mtaro Estate comes from the Kiambu region, from a prestigious plantation located at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. The SL28, SL34, and K7 varieties have been naturally processed, giving the coffee a more pronounced fruity sweetness and a smooth structure. Rich, volcanic soils and the slow ripening of the fruit result in a pure, intense, and perfectly balanced Kenya.
