Friedhats – Ethiopia Gesha Village is an ultra-premium single-origin micro-lot showcasing the legendary Gesha 1931 variety. Sourced from the world-renowned Gesha Village estate, specifically from the Oma plot at altitudes up to 2040 MASL, this coffee undergoes a precise Honey process. By leaving a calculated layer of sweet mucilage on the seeds during drying, the process enhances the coffee's overall mouthfeel and sweetness while safeguarding the complex, elegant characteristics of the variety.

The resulting cup presents an immaculate structure with outstanding clarity. It opens with an intensely fragrant floral bouquet of chamomile and sweet orange blossom. A soft, fleshy layer of ripe apricot anchors the mid-palate, delivering a beautifully rounded acidity and lingering clean finish. Lightly roasted for filter extraction, this lot benefits significantly from resting; we highly recommend letting the beans age for at least a month to unlock their full aromatic potential through pour-over gear like the Hario V60.
