Kaffeelix – Uganda Zebigi comes from the visionary "The Coffee Gardens" project on the slopes of Mount Elgon. This lot, consisting of Nyasaland, SL14, and SL28 varieties, is grown at extreme altitudes of up to 2200 MASL. The dry fermentation washed process ensures a transparent and clean cup, highlighting the dedicated work of local farmers and the sustainable practices implemented by the project team.
The flavor profile is wonderfully comforting and complex. It features dominant notes of hazelnut and vanilla, supported by a deep dark chocolate base. A vibrant spark of orange acidity brings freshness to the cup, while a finish of candied walnut provides a sweet, nutty aftertaste.
