LOT Coffee - Peru Cajamarca El Palto Washed - 250g

LOT Coffee – Peru Cajamarca is an organic specialty microlot sourced from the Chingama valley in the northern Peruvian highlands. Produced by the El Palto association (Asociación de Productores Agroecológicos El Palto) at altitudes of 1600–1800 MASL, this lot combines Bourbon, Catimor, and Caturra varieties grown under shade trees. A meticulous fully washed process (Washed) combined with careful temperature-controlled drying delivers excellent structural clarity, outstanding lot consistency, and a clean cup layout.

The resulting cup features high balance, a rich, sweet foundation, and a satisfying depth. The tasting profile opens with the juicy, round sweetness of ripe cherry and sweet plum. This fruit core is masterfully grounded by comforting, dense notes of toffee apple and rich brown sugar. The entire experience is elevated by a distinctly smooth, creamy body that carries into a sweet, clean finish. Roasted as an omniroast, this lot performs beautifully across manual filter extractions like the Hario V60 as well as modern espresso profiles.
