Rum Baba – Colombia La Kaleidoscope Ombligon is an exclusive, single-origin specialty coffee from the Bruselas micro-region in Huila. Featuring the highly coveted and rare Ombligón variety, this lot was produced at the renowned El Diviso estate by Nestor Lasso’s team. Processed via an advanced Natural Experimental method, this coffee highlights the unique genetic markers of the variety while ensuring pristine cup clarity and outstanding structural sweetness.
The resulting cup is characterized by a silky texture, vibrant expression, and a complex floral-fruit hierarchy. The flavor profile features an intense, sweet candy-like character integrated with elegant notes of floral violet. Roasted with a light profile, this high-density lot is versatile, performing exceptionally well both as a complex, fruit-forward espresso and across manual filter methods such as the Hario V60.
