Runty Roaster - Ethiopia Kercha Washed - 250g
Runty Roaster – Ethiopia Kercha is a single-origin specialty coffee from the Guji region of Ethiopia. This lot consists of traditional wild Heirloom varieties from the 2025 harvest. The coffee is processed using the traditional fully washed method (Washed). The removal of pulped fruit followed by clean water fermentation and drying on raised African beds ensures high structural clarity and highlights the native floral-citrus characteristics of the terroir.
The resulting cup features a light, tea-like body and high flavor separation. The sensory profile opens with explicit notes of sweet peach ice tea, paired with bright organic acidity of fresh citrus. The background and finishing notes offer a smooth, subtle undertone of almonds. Lightly roasted for filter extraction, this high-density lot is designed for manual brewing methods such as the Hario V60, Chemex, and AeroPress.
