The Naughty Dog – Ethiopia Lalesa Lemongrass is a Special Edition single-origin specialty coffee from the Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia. Sourced from the Lalesa washing station at elevations of 1900–2300 MASL, this fresh 2026 crop consists of the 74110 and 74112 varieties. The lot undergoes an experimental dry process where whole coffee cherries are fermented with lemongrass leaves (Natural with Lemongrass) prior to sun-drying. Controlled fermentation ensures high stability, clean cup character, and enhanced aromatic complexity.

The resulting cup features a sweet, fragrant profile with lively organic acidity. The flavor hierarchy opens with subtle notes of yellow flowers and juicy raspberries, complemented by a smooth base of pistachio pralines. The finish exhibits a distinct, wine-like depth reminiscent of orange wine. Lightly roasted for filter extraction, this lot is optimized for manual pour-over methods including the Hario V60, Chemex, and AeroPress.
