Friedhats – Ethiopia Bisrat Melaku is a single-origin specialty coffee sourced from the Guji region in Ethiopia (2150–2350 MASL). Produced by Bisrat Melaku at the Uraga Bisrat washing station, this lot consists entirely of the single landrace variety Wolisho. The coffee undergoes a traditional fully Washed process, highlighting immaculate cup clarity, refined acidity, and delicate varietal aromatics.

The resulting filter roast demonstrates a highly sophisticated, tea-like flavor structure. The sensory hierarchy opens with aromatic notes of sweet jasmine florality and juicy white peach, rounded out by a crisp, citrus-forward finish of bergamot. Lightly roasted for manual pour-over extraction, it performs consistently across tools like the Hario V60, Chemex, and AeroPress.
