HAYB - X-mas Honduras San Marcos, Espresso - 250g
From the high hills of San Marcos in the Ocotepeque region comes this washed, exceptionally sweet Honduran coffee—ideal as an espresso. Grown near the Güisayote Reserve, in fertile soils and a cooler microclimate, it matures more slowly, allowing the beans to gain density and full aroma. This espresso was created with the holidays in mind: smooth, dessert-like, and versatile.
Clear notes of chocolate and nougat dominate the cup, giving it a pleasantly creamy, dessert-like character. A hint of dried fig appears in the background, introducing a subtle fruity sweetness. Low acidity and a smooth body make this espresso delicious on its own, but also an excellent base for cappuccino and flat white. The coffee equivalent of a holiday sweetness—comfortable, harmonious, and perfect for under the Christmas tree.
