Kávoholik – Colombia Sudan Rume Enigma is a competition-grade single-origin specialty coffee sourced from the Campo Hermoso farm in Colombia (1650–2050 MASL). Featuring the rare Sudan Rume variety, this lot achieved an outstanding score of 90 SCA points and was used to secure 1st Place at the Brewers Cup Australia 2025. The cherries undergo a complex Black Honey Mossto Lactic Enigma Hoops process, integrating black honey processing, lactic fermentation, coffee cherry mosto, and hops.
The resulting filter roast presents an exceptionally full body and intricate flavor structure with balanced acidity. The sensory profile opens with elegant floral notes and sweet fruit jam, transitioning into vibrant pineapple. The complex finish reveals subtle savory-herbaceous layers of pistachio and sage. Lightly roasted for manual pour-over extraction, it performs consistently across tools like the Hario V60, Chemex, and AeroPress.
