Klaro – Tanzania Sambewe is a vibrant single-origin specialty coffee representing the Sambewe AMCOS cooperative in the Mbozi region. Comprising a lot from 442 smallholder farmers, this coffee features traditional regional varieties N 39 and KP 423 grown at 1616 MASL. This season, the lot was processed using the traditional fully washed method (Washed). The seeds were meticulously dried on raised African beds for 24 to 30 days and raked every 2 hours, ensuring immaculate quality control and high cup clarity.

The resulting cup delivers a crisp, juicy structure paired with a dense, sugary foundation. It opens with the bright, snappy acidity of red currant seamlessly integrated with sweet notes of ripe orange. A heavy, warming layer of dark molasses rounds out the mid-palate, anchoring the bright citrus elements and leading into a clean, lingering finish. Lightly roasted for filter extraction, this lot shines brightly across manual pour-over setups like the Hario V60.
