Cultivated by Alirio Rodriguez at an altitude of 1550 MASL, this lot showcases the rare and highly intriguing Caturron variety. The coffee undergoes a traditional fully washed process (Washed), which beautifully accentuates its unique varietal traits. This immaculate execution results in superb structural clarity and high flavor separation, earning an impressive evaluation of 86 SCA points.

The resulting cup features a light, elegant, tea-like body and a non-traditional flavor hierarchy. It opens with a crisp, medium-high malic acidity reminiscent of fresh green apples. This bright fruit profile is accompanied by an unorthodox, spicy undertone of sweet anise, while a delicate layer of dry floral notes integrates the entire experience.
