The Naughty Dog – Ethiopia Negele Gorbitu is a standout filter coffee from the legendary Yirgacheffe region. Grown at staggering altitudes of up to 2020 m a.s.l. in the Gedeb Gotiti district, these cherries mature slowly in mineral-rich volcanic soil. This chemical-free, high-altitude cultivation ensures a concentrated flavor profile that is later refined under the watchful "supervision" of the roastery's famous dachshunds, Jenny and Mája.
This lot features a blend of local landraces (Kurume, Dega, and Wolisho) processed via anaerobic dry fermentation in sealed stainless steel tanks. This method amplifies the coffee’s complexity and body, resulting in a cup filled with lemon candy sweetness and the vibrant freshness of pomegranate. The experience is deepened by chocolate praline undertones and finished with a sophisticated orange wine aftertaste. It is a playful, high-energy coffee that perfectly balances acidity and sweetness.
