Timemore C3S PRO Black is an excellent manual coffee grinder that will satisfy every home-brewing enthusiast. It’s perfectly suited for grinding coffee for espresso, but also works great for moka pots, alternative brewing methods, and French Press. Compared to the C3 ESP model, the C3 ESP PRO is equipped with a foldable handle.

This model features innovative stainless steel E&B burrs, which provide greater precision and a wider grinding range. The body is made from a single block of aluminum, and the upgraded double-bearing design ensures more consistent grinding. The C3S stands out with its wide grind size adjustment range. The PRO model additionally includes a foldable crank arm, making it easier to transport and store.

Stainless Steel Burrs:

The Timemore Chestnut C3S PRO is equipped with sharp, patented stainless steel E&B burrs, 38 mm in diameter, S2C 660 (Spike-2-Cut). These burrs pre-cut coffee beans into smaller pieces, which makes grinding faster and more even, with significantly less resistance. The burrs are made from SUS303 stainless steel with a hardness rating of HRC 55–58, and they are CNC machined for higher precision. The resulting coffee has a cleaner, more defined flavor and greater depth compared to grinders from the standard C3 series.

Grinder Build:

The Timemore Chestnut C3S PRO stands out with its high-quality craftsmanship. The grinder now includes a new silicone base. Its 52 mm diameter body has a unique anti-slip surface, providing comfort and ease of use. The grinder fits securely in the hand and does not slip during use.
