element. – Costa Rica Solis Y Cordero is a single-origin specialty coffee produced by Cup of Excellence winner Ivan Solis. This lot features the modern F1 hybrid variety, increasingly popular in Costa Rica for its high acidity potential and complex cup quality. The coffee undergoes anaerobic dry processing (Natural / Anaerobic). This controlled anaerobic fermentation phase before drying amplifies sugar concentration and enhances organic acids without processing defects.

The resulting cup delivers complex, bright acidity and a smooth body with excellent flavor separation. The sensory profile leads with heavy notes of sweet plum and juicy red apple. This core is supported by a distinct layer of dark berries, highlighting notes of ripe blackberry and tart blackcurrant. Lightly roasted for filter extraction, this lot is designed for manual brewing methods such as the Hario V60, Chemex, and AeroPress.
