Concept Coffee – Kenya Weithaga AA is a single-origin specialty coffee sourced from the Weithaga Factory, part of the New Weithaga Farmers Cooperative Society in Kenya. Sourced from approximately 700 smallholder farmers across Murang'a County at altitudes of 1400–1700 MASL, this AA grade lot comprises SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 cultivars. Processed via the traditional fully washed method (Washed), this lot exhibits exceptional cup clarity and sharp organic acidity.
The resulting cup demonstrates a crisp flavor structure with dynamic acidity. The flavor profile opens with punchy notes of tart red currant and juicy grapefruit, transitioning smoothly into a soft, sweet mid-palate of vanilla. The brew concludes with a clean, dry finish featuring refined notes of black tea. Lightly roasted for filter extraction, it delivers consistent results across manual pour-over tools such as the Hario V60, Chemex, and AeroPress.
