Friedhats - Rwanda Gasharu Rugori - 250g
In the cup, the coffee is bright, sweet, and very elegant. At the beginning, blackberry appears – juicy, slightly winey, yet clear. Then comes the sweetness of dates, which adds depth and a natural, fruity viscosity. The finish is long and smooth, with a distinct note of tea – black, slightly tannic, giving the whole thing structure and class. This is a perfectly balanced, clean, and complex coffee, demonstrating the excellence of washed Rwanda. Friedhats – Rwanda Gasharu Rugori is a unique washed Rwanda from the Nyamasheke region, produced by Gasharu Coffee using fruit from approximately 1,650 smallholder farmers. The Bourbon variety grows here at high altitudes, producing a light, clean, and precise coffee. Lot Rugori has a special meaning – its name comes from the word Urugori, meaning the crown given to women after the birth of their first child. Importantly, the entire processing of this coffee is carried out by women, and Rugori is considered a gem among washed Gasharu coffees.
