Good Coffee – Colombia Marleny Imbachi Geisha is an extraordinary specialty microlot showcasing the incredible resilience and craftsmanship of producer Marleny Imbachi. Grown at 1650 MASL in the prestigious San Agustín area of Huila, this lot features the legendary and delicate Geisha cultivar. The cherries undergo a pristine fully washed process (Washed) with a 2-day tank fermentation and a slow, controlled 18 to 20 days drying phase on raised platforms. This meticulous post-harvest handling yields a cup of remarkable concentration and outstanding varietal clarity.
The resulting cup features a brilliant, crisp, and exceptionally complex flavor structure. It opens with an abundance of vibrant yellow fruits, highlighting the lush sweetness of ripe apricot and zesty orange. This bright profile is layered with the deep, elegant tartness of juicy blackcurrant and sweet blackberry notes. Lightly roasted for filter extraction, this high-stature lot yields spectacular definition and floral-fruity elegance across manual pour-overs like the Hario V60.
