Colombia El Placer IPA is an explosion of freshness and aroma. In the cup, you'll find jasmine and citrus accents, balanced by the sweetness of brown sugar. Distinct notes of lime, a delicate bitterness, and hop aromas are noticeable, giving the coffee a unique, crisp character. The profile is clean, intense, and multi-layered—ideal for lovers of modern fermentation and bold flavors.
This unique, experimental coffee from the El Placer Farms project, led by one of Colombia's fermentation pioneers, Sebastian Ramírez. Grown at an altitude of 1500–1744 meters above sea level in the Quindío region, the Pink Bourbon variety has undergone a complex process of carbonic maceration with the addition of hops and controlled co-fermentation. The process is based on the principles of honey processing, but is enhanced with an IPA-style step, giving the coffee a unique aromatic character.
