Kaffeelix - Peru, Decaf - Bezkofeinowa - 250g
This blend of Peruvian coffees has had its caffeine removed, but not its flavor! This process is done using liquid, natural CO2, which is pumped through the coffee in large tanks (okay, they're huge), thereby dissolving the caffeine from the beans. However, the CO2 doesn't dissolve all the other components; they remain in the coffee. If that sounds a bit too abstract for you, I recommend James Hoffmann: He visited the facility where our coffee was decaffeinated and made a super interesting video about it. Another great lesson learned!
